PPF and window tint software: every metre of the roll accounted for
A roll of film costs real money and quietly disappears into offcuts. Here you see how much was cut for the hood, how much went to waste and what the shop actually earned on a full front.

Film and roll tracking in daily work
Quote with a diagram
The customer gets a link to the quote: their body type with the panels to be covered highlighted. High-impact zones, full front, full body or single panels.
They approve and sign with a finger, and the booking goes into the calendar with the quoted prices.
Rolls, not “film in general”
You receive a roll with width, length, price and batch. In the job, the installer picks the roll and writes: 1.7 m for the hood, 0.3 m of it offcuts. What is left on the roll shows as a bar.
Waste percentage
Each roll has a history of cuts and its share of offcuts. If one installer wastes twice as much as another, you see it right away, not at the stock count.
Warranty with the batch
At handover the warranty picks up the film name and the batches of the rolls it was cut from. The customer scans the QR and sees the terms and expiry.
Tint on its own
Rear half, windshield strip, heat-rejecting film, old film removal — separate services with checklists. In the price list and booking, tint doesn’t mix with PPF.
Full front PPF profit
An example for a crossover. Film is costed at the price of the roll it was cut from, not a stock average.
The installer enters the metres; the price per metre comes from the roll card.
Film calculator for customers
While the customer is thinking, let them work it out themselves. Our site has a free film usage calculator: pick the body from a picture, select panels on the diagram, get metres and a rough cost. You can just send the link in a DM.

Questions
How do I track film stock in a PPF shop?
Receive each roll with its size, price and batch; cuts are recorded in the jobs. Remaining length, offcuts and the cost of each car are calculated for you.
Can I run only window tint, without PPF?
Yes. During setup choose “Tint and vinyl” and you get tint services with checklists and sample prices that you replace with your own.
One roll goes on several cars. Is that handled?
Yes, a roll can be used in any number of jobs. You enter the cut for each car and the remainder is counted from the roll.
What happens when a roll runs out?
Press “Roll finished”: the tail goes to offcuts and the roll to the archive. If you measure and there is less than the system shows, the difference goes to waste and stays in the history.
How much does it cost?
From $12 a month for a single installer. Roll tracking and warranties are on every plan, and the first 7 days are free.
Test it on your own roll
Add one roll and one car. In a week you will see how much really goes to waste.
