How much film does a full front take?+
For a mid-size sedan, about 7–8 linear metres of 152 cm roll including waste: bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. Crossovers and SUVs take 10–25% more.
How much film does a full body take?+
Roughly 18–22 metres for a sedan and 23–27 metres for an SUV, plus 10–20% waste depending on patterns and the installer.
Why a 15% waste allowance?+
Cutting leaves offcuts that cannot be used, and complex panels (bumpers, mirrors) sometimes need a redo. 10–20% is a typical allowance.
